TO DIVIDE A STRAIGHT LINE INTO A GIVEN PROPORTION/NUMBER OF EQUAL PARTS

1.    Draw a given line “AB” of measurement

 

2.    Draw line “AC” at an angle to “AB”

 

3.    Mark out the required number of equal parts on line ”AC”

 

 

4.    Join the last number/point marked on “AC” to “AB”

 

5.       Repeat with parallel lines on the other numbers/points marked
